Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is gonna start off weird but bear with me and you’ll understand the five stars. Earlier today, I had a technician by the name of Aaron come out to supposedly perform my scheduled service. Normally, I am home but was not today and he took advantage of that and half did his job. Luckily, I checked my camera's And saw the half done job he did and I called customer service a loan story short I ended up talking to Jacob, who was super nice and he ended up sending another technician by the name of CJ back out later that afternoon. CJ Came and went above and beyond I expected and I really appreciate that. I am enjoying my experience with Clear Defense pest control thus far and look forward to continuing that they were very patient and attentive with me as I explained everything that happened from the service earlier and I appreciate that as well

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went above and beyond. Treated those areas where we had more pests a bit heavier, knocked down exiting webs, treated around the perimeter and garage as well as the lower level
The number or insect pests we had this summer has been significantly reduced using this service. Our service technician, Shekewa, was very efficient, friendly and did a great job.

OUR PROCESS

Mice Don't Need Much Space to Get In. We Find Every Gap.

We inspect the full exterior, close every entry point, and follow up free.

1. Inspect

We start by listening. Our technicians ask what you've been seeing and inspect the property to understand where pests are coming from and what conditions may be allowing them in.

2. Defend the Whole Property

Power sprayer treatment up to 30 ft, eaves, overhangs, every window and door seal, products that last 90 days, yard granulation included. Then we come back at 30 days to break the egg cycle.

3. Verify Every Step

After every visit, you get a defense report documenting every product by name, active ingredient, and EPA number. Your technician walks you through what was found and what was done. No mystery sprays. No guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Pest Control FAQs

Everything you need to know about how ClearDefense protects your home, and why our process is different from day one.

Are roof rats or house mice more common in Durham, NC?

Roof rats are the more common species in Raleigh, Cary, and Durham. They climb the mature oak trees common across Wake and Durham counties to reach rooflines. House mice enter through foundation and garage gaps. Triangle NC’s warm falls mean rodents push indoors across all seasons — fall pressure is the most noticeable but fall activity is common too.

How do rodents find entry points in Durham, NC homes?

Rodents find entry points in Durham homes through gaps at the roofline and soffit using nearby tree branches in established wooded neighborhoods. Roof rats are more common than house mice in older Durham areas near the university. They enter through gaps at ridge vents, soffit edges, and roofline penetrations. House mice push inside through foundation gaps in fall. Signs include scratching above the ceiling at night and droppings near the attic access.

How do I prevent a rodent problem?

Durham, NC residents can block pests by sealing up outer doors. Fix leaky sinks right away to dry out damp spots. Make sure your garbage bin has a very heavy top.

Can I get rid of rodents on my own?

For a rodent control concern in Durham, NC, start with the conditions you can observe. Traps or bait may reduce activity, but they do not correct entry points by themselves. ClearDefense uses trapping and rodenticide programs as appropriate, while the customer remains responsible for required structural repairs unless separately arranged. The technician will explain the applicable next steps after reviewing the affected areas.

How long does rodent control treatment take?

The technician will tailor rodent control to the findings at the Durham, NC property. Timing depends on property size, attic or crawlspace access, the number of entry points, and whether follow-up trapping or baiting is needed. There is no single set time for every rodent job. Scheduling staff can clarify what to expect before the appointment.
