Same-day service • Local specialists • Dual guarantee
A hidden hornet nest can send steady traffic across a porch, driveway, or backyard. Nashville hornet control tracks that movement to the source, treats the colony site, and checks nearby places where another nest could form.
A focused nest treatment is paired with removal when conditions allow. If hornets return under ongoing service, the re-treat guarantee provides another visit without an added service charge.

Vince Fredrick took care of us this week. He made a very valient effort to contact me before he began, to see if everything was going good. I really appreciated that because I never see the technicians and I did have some concerns. This was a very big deal for me and no one else has done this before. Thank you Vince. 5 stars.

OUR PROCESS
Follow the Flight Path to the Source
The bug is the symptom. The building is the problem. We treat both.
1. Inspect
We start by listening. Our technicians ask what you've been seeing and inspect the property to understand where pests are coming from and what conditions may be allowing them in.
2. Defend the Whole Property
Power sprayer treatment up to 30 ft, eaves, overhangs, every window and door seal, products that last 90 days, yard granulation included. Then we come back at 30 days to break the egg cycle.
3. Verify Every Step
After every visit, you get a defense report documenting every product by name, active ingredient, and EPA number. Your technician walks you through what was found and what was done. No mystery sprays. No guessing.
The local office handles scheduling and follow-up without routing customers through a national call center. Arrival texts and the emailed service report keep each step clear from inspection through treatment.
Service covers active nests and hornet traffic around houses, detached buildings, trees, and outdoor gathering areas. The exact method follows the nest type, location, and access.
Everything you need to know about how ClearDefense protects your home, and why our process is different from day one.
What hornet species are common near Nashville, TN homes?
Bald-faced hornets are the most common hornet species near Nashville homes. They build large visible paper nests in trees and under eaves, growing from small spring starts to large colonies by midfall. Yellow jackets nest underground near patios and inside wall voids. Middle Tennessee’s warm season from April through October gives both species a long building window.
How dangerous are hornets near Nashville, TN homes?
Bald-faced hornets and yellow jackets both sting multiple times without warning when a nest is disturbed. Anyone with an insect sting allergy faces serious risk near an active nest. Nests grow from small spring starts to several hundred hornets by late Falll. Finding a nest early in spring is far safer than attempting removal from a mature fall nest. Professional removal with proper equipment eliminates the nest without putting you at risk.
How do I prevent hornets from building nests?
You can prevent bugs in Nashville, TN by keeping all sweet food sealed. Mop your kitchen weekly with hot soapy water. Make sure your garbage bin has a very heavy top.
Can I remove a hornet nest on my own?
A focused inspection in Nashville, TN helps identify the source and the appropriate service steps. Disturbing a nest can trigger defensive stinging, so removal should be handled with appropriate protective equipment. ClearDefense technicians can treat reachable eaves up to twenty-five feet when the site conditions allow. Details that cannot be confirmed before inspection will be reviewed at the property.
How long does hornet control treatment take?
For Nashville, TN properties, the visible signs and access points guide the service plan. Timing depends on nest location, height, access, and whether more than one active area is present. The technician identifies the insect, treats the relevant nest or activity area, and explains any applicable re-treatment terms. Any follow-up is handled according to the documented terms for that service.
