OUR PROCESS

One Treatment Fogs. Ours Actually Cuts the Population.

We fog, apply larvicide, and return monthly so counts stay low all season.

1. Inspect

We start by listening. Our technicians ask what you've been seeing and inspect the property to understand where pests are coming from and what conditions may be allowing them in.

2. Defend the Whole Property

Power sprayer treatment up to 30 ft, eaves, overhangs, every window and door seal, products that last 90 days, yard granulation included. Then we come back at 30 days to break the egg cycle.

3. Verify Every Step

After every visit, you get a defense report documenting every product by name, active ingredient, and EPA number. Your technician walks you through what was found and what was done. No mystery sprays. No guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Pest Control FAQs

Everything you need to know about how ClearDefense protects your home, and why our process is different from day one.

Why are mosquitoes such a problem in Lexington, KY?

Lexington mosquitoes are most active from June through October when Bluegrass region humidity peaks. Stormwater drainage and farm pond runoff create standing water pockets across Fayette County. Breeding populations build fast during the warm humid months in the center of the state.

What mosquito-borne illnesses are reported in Lexington, KY?

West Nile virus cases have been confirmed in Fayette County and across Kentucky. Culex mosquitoes breed in farm drainage and suburban stormwater features throughout the county during warm months. Eastern Equine Encephalitis is also present in Kentucky. Active transmission season runs from June through October in the Bluegrass region. Monthly fogging during this window keeps biting numbers manageable during peak risk months.

How do I reduce mosquitoes around my property?

Keep your Lexington, KY house safe by checking for small wall cracks. Keep tree branches cut back away from your roof. Keep your baked goods in hard jars with tight lids.

Can I control mosquitoes on my own?

The most useful first step for a Lexington, KY property is identifying the source of the activity. Consumer products may offer short-term relief but often miss resting sites and developing mosquitoes. A recurring program combines yard treatment, identification of conducive conditions, and larvicide use. The visit is adjusted to the property rather than relying on a fixed treatment assumption.

How long does mosquito control treatment take?

The most useful first step for a Lexington, KY property is identifying the source of the activity. The SIQ states that a mosquito treatment takes about twenty minutes, with variation for yard size. Treatment performance is designed to continue through rainy weather, and customers should follow the technician’s use instructions. Details that cannot be confirmed before inspection will be reviewed at the property.
