OUR PROCESS

Mice Don't Need Much Space to Get In. We Find Every Gap.

We inspect the full exterior, close every entry point, and follow up free.

1. Inspect

We start by listening. Our technicians ask what you've been seeing and inspect the property to understand where pests are coming from and what conditions may be allowing them in.

2. Defend the Whole Property

Power sprayer treatment up to 30 ft, eaves, overhangs, every window and door seal, products that last 90 days, yard granulation included. Then we come back at 30 days to break the egg cycle.

3. Verify Every Step

After every visit, you get a defense report documenting every product by name, active ingredient, and EPA number. Your technician walks you through what was found and what was done. No mystery sprays. No guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Pest Control FAQs

Everything you need to know about how ClearDefense protects your home, and why our process is different from day one.

What rodents are most active in Lexington, KY homes?

House mice are the most common rodent in Lexington homes. They push inside aggressively from October through February as Bluegrass region temperatures drop. Roof rats are present in older Lexington neighborhoods with large trees near rooflines. Fayette County’s mix of urban and agricultural land means rodents are never far from the suburban edge.

What are the signs of rodents in Lexington, KY homes?

Signs of rodents in Lexington include scratching sounds in the walls or basement at night, droppings near food storage or behind appliances, and gnawed food packaging. House mice are the primary species — they push inside hard from October through February as Bluegrass region temperatures drop. Farm-adjacent suburban edges in Fayette County create larger outdoor mouse populations that forage toward homes. Roof rats are present near older Lexington neighborhoods with large trees.

How do I prevent a rodent problem?

Keep bugs away from your Lexington, KY property by fixing wet spots. Keep indoor trash cans shut tight to block bad smells. Seal small gaps near your pipes so bugs cannot sneak in.

Can I get rid of rodents on my own?

In Lexington, KY, an inspection can separate isolated activity from a broader concern. Traps or bait may reduce activity, but they do not correct entry points by themselves. ClearDefense uses trapping and rodenticide programs as appropriate, while the customer remains responsible for required structural repairs unless separately arranged. The next step is based on verified activity, accessible areas, and the selected service.

How long does rodent control treatment take?

The most useful first step for a Lexington, KY property is identifying the source of the activity. Timing depends on property size, attic or crawlspace access, the number of entry points, and whether follow-up trapping or baiting is needed. The SIQ does not set a single duration for every rodent job. You can review the service-specific terms before authorizing the work.
