OUR PROCESS

Populations Build Outdoors. Fall Is When They Move Indoors.

We close entry points now so mice and rats have nowhere to go this fall.

1. Inspect

We start by listening. Our technicians ask what you've been seeing and inspect the property to understand where pests are coming from and what conditions may be allowing them in.

2. Defend the Whole Property

Power sprayer treatment up to 30 ft, eaves, overhangs, every window and door seal, products that last 90 days, yard granulation included. Then we come back at 30 days to break the egg cycle.

3. Verify Every Step

After every visit, you get a defense report documenting every product by name, active ingredient, and EPA number. Your technician walks you through what was found and what was done. No mystery sprays. No guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Pest Control FAQs

Everything you need to know about how ClearDefense protects your home, and why our process is different from day one.

What rodents are getting into homes in Middletown, OH?

House mice are the dominant rodent in the Cincinnati metro and Northern Kentucky. They push inside hard from October through February when temperatures drop. Roof rats are less common but present near older Cincinnati neighborhoods. Ohio River humidity keeps rodent activity elevated through spring. Blue Ash, Covington, Florence, and Fairfield all see consistent fall and fall pressure.

What signs tell me I have rodents in Middletown, OH?

Signs of rodents in Middletown include scratching sounds in the walls or basement at night, droppings behind appliances or in the pantry, and chewed food packaging. House mice are the primary species — they push inside from October through February through foundation gaps in Middletown’s older housing stock. Great Miami River proximity keeps outdoor rodent populations elevated near the river. Older Middletown homes have more foundation-level entry gaps than newer Warren County construction.

How do I prevent a rodent problem?

Always keep your Middletown, OH kitchen spotless to stop hungry insects. Check your roof vents and plug any open gaps. Keep your baked goods in hard jars with tight lids.

Can I get rid of rodents on my own?

Service for Middletown, OH customers is based on current activity rather than a one-size-fits-all assumption. Traps or bait may reduce activity, but they do not correct entry points by themselves. ClearDefense uses trapping and rodenticide programs as appropriate, while the customer remains responsible for required structural repairs unless separately arranged. The technician will explain the applicable next steps after reviewing the affected areas.

How long does rodent control treatment take?

The most useful first step for a Middletown, OH property is identifying the source of the activity. Timing depends on property size, attic or crawlspace access, the number of entry points, and whether follow-up trapping or baiting is needed. The SIQ does not set a single duration for every rodent job. The visit is adjusted to the property rather than relying on a fixed treatment assumption.
